Whiplash

Whiplash injuries happen ever day as a result of car accidents in Portland. The most common example is an automobile is struck from behind or the car comes to a sudden stop. This causes the head to snap back and the forth, and this in turn cause the spine to travel beyond its normal limits. Auto insurance in Oregon and Washington is required to pay the full cost for your treatment. Regardless of who was a fault, your insurance will cover all necessary treatment at our office (no co-pay or deductible at our office).

The muscles and ligaments supporting the spine and may become torn and the spinal discs may bulge, tear, or rupture. The nerve roots in the neck can get stretched and irritated. The car may only show some slight damage, but the occupants may have suffered extensive damage.
